Great Notch Trail is a moderately trafficked trail that is located near Southwest Harbor. The trail takes you through a wooded mossy path. From the Great Notch Trail, you can access the Western Mountain Trails. The Great Notch Trail connects to Bernard Mountain Trail, Long Pond Trail, Razorback Trail, Gilley Trail, and Sluiceway Trail. This trail is rated a moderate difficulty.
Parking is at Great Notch Trail Parking Area off of Long Pond Fire Road.
