Hemlock Trail is a moderately trafficked trail that is located near Bar Harbor. Hemlock Trail is a nice walk through a meadow with birch and hemlock trees. The Hemlock Trail connects to Stratheden Path, Kebo Mountain Trail, Dorr North Ridge Trail, and Gorge Path. Hemlock Trail is good for hikers of all levels.

Parking is at Sieur de Monts Nature Center Parking Area.

Seaside Path

Seaside path is a moderately trafficked trail that starts near Jordan Pond house carriage road. This trail follows along Stanly brook road outside of the park to Route 3. This path is easy and has minimal elevation change. The trail ends near Seaside Lane.

Park at Jordan Pond and walk towards carriage roads to access Seaside Path.

Jordan Pond Carry

Jordan Pond Carry is a moderately trafficked trail that is located between Jordan Pond and Eagle Lake. The trail takes you from the Jordan Pond area through a wooded area with nice long wooden plank style walkways that lead you to Eagle Lake. Jordan Pond Carry connects to Eagle Lake Trail, Bubbles Divide, and Jordan Pond Path.

Parking is at Bubble Divide Parking Area off of Park Loop Road.

Jordan Cliffs Trail

Jordan Cliff Trail is a moderately trafficked trail that is located by Jordan Pond near Seal Harbor. The trail is a challenging steep hike up the east side of Penobscot Mountain. It is a bit rocky and heavily rooted through the forest before ascending above the treeline. Jordan Cliff Trail connects to Amphitheatre Trail, Spring Trail, Penobscot East Trail, and Deer Brook Trail. The Jordan Cliff Trail is rated an advanced difficulty.

Parking is at Jordan Pond Path then walk down spring trail till you reach Jordan Cliff Trail.

This trail is closed yearly from March-August for peregrine falcon nesting season. For this reason, the team cannot provide an updated TrailView at this time. Please consult alternate resources if you intend to hike the Jordan Cliffs Trail.

Jesup Path

Jesup Path is a moderately trafficked path that is located near Bar Harbor, right by the Nature Center. The Jesup Path is an easy trail that follows a gravel path up to the Nature Center. This trail connects to the Kane Path, and Emery Path. The Jesup Path is a good trail for hikers of all skill levels.

Jordan Pond Path is a heavily trafficked trail that is located at Jordan Pond and traverses the whole way around the pond. The trail follows the shoreline of the lake and has nice views of the mountains from the valley that Jordan Pond is in. Jordan Pond Path connects to Jordan Pond Nature Trail, Penobscot Mountain Loop, Bubble & Jordan Pond Path, Bubble Trail, Deer Brook Trail, and Bubbles Divide Trail. The Jordan Pond Path is rated a moderate difficulty.
