Pemetic South Ridge Trail

Pemetic South Ridge Trail is a moderately trafficked trail that is located by Jordan Pond near Bar Harbor. The trail is the most gradual climb up to Pemetic Mountain that goes through a pike forest up to the rocky ridge of the mountain. Pemetic South Ridge Trail connects to Bubbles & Jordan Pond path, Pemetic Northwest Trail, and Pemetic North Ridge Trail. The Pemetic South Ridge Trail is rated a moderate difficulty.

Parking at Jordan Pond Path Parking Area then hike down Bubbles & Jordan Pond path until you reach the trailhead of Pemetic South Ridge Trail.

  1. Pemetic has one of the most underrated views in Acadia. It’s a gorgeous bald topped mountain with stunning views without any of the crowds you find on Cadillac.
